I borrowed this book from Sarah and read it casually over a few weeks, while I was in between books. It's a collection of Klosterman's interviews (with celebrities such as Britney Spears and Bono) and pop culture articles from various newspapers and magazines. Each piece is short and pretty funny, so it was easy to read an article here and there while not being compelled to finish the whole book. I even skipped the entire last section, which was fictional.
I kept on having deja vu while I was reading, which was a little disconcerting. I'm pretty sure I haven't read this book before. I know I've read at least 2, if not 3, Chuck Klosterman books, but not this one, so I couldn't put my finger on what felt so familiar about it. Maybe it's just his style. In any case, it's quite funny. He's a very clever writer.

Hey Lydia- I too am a Klosterman fan. I just ordered his "Eating the Dinosaur" for a x-mas present along with the felting book we used last night at cake club. Thanks for hosting and letting me tag along- it was a great night.
