Packing for Mars, by Mary Roach

I really enjoy Mary Roach. She writes amusingly about science topics you never studied in school, such as what happens to corpses (Stiff), paranormal studies (Spook), and sex (Bonk).  These are more than layman's terms, and they're damn funny.

Packing for Mars follows the same vein. It's about space travel, which is not all glamourous moon landings. A lot of consideration has to go into things like using the toilet in space. This book covers all that stuff. It's funny, honest and a little gross at times.

I've been curious about her books, but never read any. I will add her to my list of authors to read. If you had to pick one, which one was your favourite?

That's a toughy...I would happily re-read her 3 earlier books, but if I had to choose, I guess either Stiff or Spook?
